From their point of view
It began with a God. He was a pleasant God, but very bored. So from realms that no-one could know, he found himself a Goddess and three other Gods to join him. At last he had company, and they sat around discussing things that mortal minds cannot comprehend. It was at last decided to make a Universe. So, lovingly, they made a small Universe. At the center of this Universe, they placed a star.
The original God, being very young, thought it to be the most beautiful thing he had ever seen and named it Glory.
Around Glory, the Goddess placed three planets. The first was Kaddek, but it was devoid of life. However, it had water, and sometimes the water would float off and she would dance in the falsified rain.
The second she named Terra, remembering the world she was once human in. It had green soil, simply green because she wanted it to be. Though if you wish to know the scientific reason, a special greenish metal that primarily made Terra up were turned into powder by the fact that meteors and asteroids often landed upon it.
The third, she decided, would have life, and be called Adricta. Gently she landed on the blackest sand she could find, and coaxed water into the valleys and small places. The sand had salt in it, and therefore, so did the water. Next she took the whitest soil and coaxed small plants to grow. From the soils and sands in-between came freshwater rivers and lakes, rocky mountains and beautiful lands. And then things began to grow.
They grew fast, encouraged by the Goddess's magic and the added magic of another God - but not the original. He enjoyed the Goddess's company and wanted her for his own. To impress her, he took some leaves and fashioned them into a flying-thing. She clapped gleefully, and then the flying-thing landed in her hands. Slowly and gently, it warped into sinew and bone and tissue and skin, forming into a small flying creature.
The God fashioned another flying-thing, and the Goddess brought it to life, allowing the girl flyer to have a boy companion.
The Goddess used the plants to create creatures like she remembered on her other life. From a flower and some grass she made a faery, and a companion for him. From a rock she made a swift feline, the pelt as soft as the softest sand, as beautiful as the Goddess herself. The feline was brave and bold, and his companion was equally wonderful. From the sand-bits, she formed a tiny and happy creature, who wandered beneath the sands by the sea.
From fronds in the sea she made a beautiful fish, delicious to eat as well, and a tiny little crab. Here was a good place to start, she decided, and left her world to its own devices.
However, the original God and the God that fancied the Goddess warred with each other. The original God was called Tren, and the other was called Calsev. Calsev created a world beside the Goddess's lively one, his much smaller than hers. He would never outdo her. Tren created another small one, equal to Calsev's. He declared a competition.
The first one to receive life from the Goddess would prove her preference, and thus she would reign.
However, another god, Divalgo, heard of this plan. And so he changed both their planets, creating them to be moons for Adricta. The Goddess found these moons, gifts for what was decidedly her world, to be delightful, and loved Tren's and Calsev's equally. It was then that Divalgo decided to create more moons, and so Terra had five moons and Kaddek, the world least-loved by them, would have none. But the final God decided that Kaddek, too, deserved something special.
His name was lost in the tomes of time, as he took the name of Kaddek, after the planet. And so, being called Kaddek, he took the now-waterless land and populated the world with some plants, beautiful, lovely, and only able to grow on Kaddek. There he went, and created a female of a species. She was tall, scaled all over, with ridges towards the top of her head, underneath which where small flitting ears. She also had a tail, pale skin that she could decorate. Kaddek, thrilled with his creation, created many more. His fondness was always for the first, however, and she did bear him a child, and many more after.
Thus was the royal, divine line started, with Kaddek often walking out among his creations, bearing their same form, never being ruler, but often being advisor. That was the story of Kaddek, with its intelligent Kaddekians and less intelligent vatiks, lizard-like creatures and herbivores (as opposed to the carnivorous Kaddekians).
Divalgo, annoyed with Kaddek, created his own planet with many, many moons. The moons could be neither named nor numbered, as their varying sizes and great amount made them as such. The people there drew their power from the moons, and he created three: one which grew strong physically, one which grew strong in magic, and one which was weak. The warring factions lived amongst the rare and beautiful stones, and the trees made of a pearl-like substance. It was beautiful, and Divalgo was happy with his creation. He named it all Zvott, and watched it from where the Gods stayed.
It was then that the Goddess was forced to decide between Tren and Calsev, their secret battle brought to light. She chose Tren, and Calsev raged. For revenge, he went upon Adricta and named himself Calvin, becoming a mighty and terrible king. He brought misery to his peoples and the peoples of other kingdoms, and the Goddess mourned.
The Goddess had a daughter with Tren, named Galliana. Tren doted on the young Goddess, his lover's child, and Galliana grew into a loving and beautiful girl. Seeing the worlds, she decided to give each a gift. To the first world, Kaddek, she brought about a high knowledge of technology, and the Kaddekians fully utilized it. To Adricta, she gave the citizens magic. Suddenly they were able to fight back against Calvin, able to defend their territory. And, finally, to the peoples that Divalgo had created, she gave a simple peace treaty. Kaddek was amazed by Galliana's gift to his people; and Divalgo was angered.
But with Tren guarding her, he dared not act. Divalgo watched them for a while, and then gave up as the Goddess had Tren's son, Mizarro. Mizarro was talented, and didn't bother interacting with the mortal species. He mimicked Tren, though he was always seen with a wide, broad, grin. His mother was also very proud, and Galliana treated him as a mortal child would be treated by his older sister. Mizarro gave Adricta a gift, as he hated Calvin for all he had done to the people of his mother’s favorite world. It was called Paradise - a place where a few special people could go. None from Calsevor, but many others who proved to be loving and kind people. Immortality could be found there, along with equality and kindness. There was no suffering like in the rest of Adricta.
Calvin, however, was growing more harsh, more awful. Unable to stand the damage he was doing to her creations, the original Goddess begged him to stop, but he refused. Desperate, with tears in her eyes, the Goddess offered to perform a terrible act against her lover, in exchange for his mercy on her creations. Calvin agreed, and so she went with him and the act was done.
However, Calvin showed no mercy, and despite the Goddess's begging, he refused to leave Adricta. The Goddess had another son, one of Calvin's blood rather than Tren's. Angered, Tren demanded she be rid of it, and so the Goddess mournfully left him with Calvin.
Shockingly, Calvin doted on his son, treating him with kindness, giving him all he wished for. Though Calvin was now thoroughly corrupted, he was still capable of love. And, through the acts of his son, he fell in love again. He was married by the customs of his kingdom to a young woman, then made her immortal - yet powerless.
The woman mourned the loss of her mortality, and she also feared Calvin. He did nothing to her, and she did indeed grow close to Calvin's and the Goddess's son, named Gedemon. As Gedemon comforted his stepmother throughout the years, Calvin received sons and daughter - much to his great delight.
The demi-God children had great power, kept at bay by their father, and turned into youths for all their days, growing at an achingly slow rate. Only Gedemon would have practice ruling - practice, Calvin thought, he would never get to use.
Though his wife had one favorite, whom Calvin allowed immortality. She would grow as slow as the others, but never die as the rest would as their life spans finally wore out.
It was around this time that the Kaddekians finally arrived on Adricta, having utilized space travel. The Adrictans mixed their knowledge with the Kaddekians, allowing full magical and technological knowledge, thus making for much more powerful abilities. Adrictans could not live on Kaddek, but the Kaddekians were able to breathe Adricta's air and thus many moved to Adricta. Genes were exchanged with knowledge, creating strange hybrids. Several hybrids moved on to visit Zvott, though the spaceship crashed (due to Divalgo), and thus they were unable to return. New genetic material, however, was added to Zvott, thus allowing the species to further develop and change. A different war was started, as the strange descendants of the hybrids were scorned.
