From Their Point of View
Lisra was her name, the first Queen and the mother of the first set of demi-gods. They would be the ruling line, much to Kaddek's great delight. She loved him passionately, and as such had many, many children with him, living for many hundreds of years. She was the first, and she lived the longest. Other people, other creations, came as it was, but Lisra was the very first, madly in love with Kaddek. As long as she lived, however, she one day died.
She had reached the thousands in age, even. One of her sons took the throne, his father being a kindly and wise advisor, despite the fact he mourned. Kaddek would never forget Lisra, though he mourned her lost. But he was needed, and so he went on.
He advised them for many years, and they stayed peaceful. However, a daughter of his - a direct daughter, his eldest out of his... doings... with another of his daughters - was corrupted. She ruled violently, delighting in the horrible punishment of her many people. Thus an uprising. As Kaddek watched in horror at the destruction, legend says - though he's never confirmed or denied this - that he saw his beloved.
Lisra appeared to him as a spirit, and told him to kill his daughter, despite how much he loved her. She also told him to take command, or so the story says, until he was able to calm things down. Did they kiss? Did they do something else? That is not known. However, Kaddek - whether because of Lisra or some other unknown reason - killed the child, and named himself king-regent. He would rule until he saw another worthy of ruling. Nobody dared question a God.
It was sometime around now that Galliana gave them a gift. Kaddek shook her hand, they smiled, and Galliana moved on to the next planet with life. Suddenly the Kaddekians learned many things, utilizing the technology into its full potential. Within a few decades, the burst of technology lead to space travel. Slowly they spread out to Terra, and then at last Adricta.
Adricta's peoples had knowledge of how to use the in-bred magic of all the species, but weren't very technologically advanced. Kaddekians and Adrictans exchanged their knowledge, creating a breed of technomagic.
And this is where our story begins...
